OKSE Coach Conduct

In the OKSE league, coaches and players are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct, Rulebooks, and Terms of Service to ensure a positive high school, middle school, and 4th/5th grade esports experience. Coaches play a crucial role as an extension of OKSE, and they are expected to maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship.

    • Respect all players, coaches, OKSE League Officials, and anyone involved before, during, or after matches.
    • Be accountable for all affiliated teams and players, managing behavior and content.
    • Maintain equipment and ensure regular updates.
    • Communicate openly and respectfully in all chat and communication channels.
    • Encourage integrity in gameplay and completion of objectives.
    • Ensure teams and players follow the OKSE Rulebook, Player Code of Conduct, and Coach Code of Conduct.
    • Communicate with OKSE League Officials and opponents regarding issues, tech problems, reschedules, or forfeits.
    • Provide accurate team contact information and be accessible during matches and 30 minutes after completion.
    • Manage player conduct and in-game names.
    • Provide evidence when reporting opposing teams or players to OKSE League Officials.
    • Promote game integrity by minimizing disruptions, tardiness, and forfeits.
    • Handle team rosters and resolve match issues promptly.
    • Prohibited conduct includes hate speech, inappropriate language, in-game names, taunting, intentional game disruption, tardiness, and using multiple accounts.
    • Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspensions, or bans.
    • Misconduct may lead to penalties depending on severity and frequency, such as warnings, side selection loss, suspensions, forfeits, or even permanent bans.
    • OKSE's decisions on rule interpretation, player eligibility, scheduling, and penalties are final and not subject to appeal for monetary damages or other remedies.
